From Windhoek into the Namib Desert and back... the Sossusvlei Shuttle is a tour of several days to famous Sossusvlei in the dune sea of the Namib. Guests are picked up in Windhoek by a minibus and taken to Namib Desert Lodge via Spreetshoogte Pass with its magnificent views. The lodge's professional tour guides accompany guests on a 4x4 excursion to Sossusvlei and explain the wonders of nature, big and small. Scramble to the top of the highest dunes on earth, enjoy a picnic under big old camel thorn trees – and spend the night at the foot of the fossilized dunes...
