Taking a shower with an elephant: one of the guestrooms at the Etosha Safari Camp.

Have you ever shared a shower with an elephant? No? Well then, this unique experience awaits you at the Etosha Safari Camp! The guest rooms now have brand new designs and renovations have finally come to an end.

“We asked our interior designers ‘Women Unleashed’ to create a comfortable and stylish environment connected to the playfulness of the Shebeen – bright, airy and light-hearted. They did a great job,” says Gondwana’s Operations Director Alain Noirfalise. “The bathrooms underwent a complete renovation.”

All 50 guest rooms have been redecorated with new, fresh colours. Ten of these are family rooms with four beds each, three triple rooms and 37 double rooms. All of which offer an exclusive elephant shower. The Etosha Safari Camp is and will remain a touch of luxury with a touch of African zest for life.

The Andersson Gate is around the corner and we will take you to visit the 580 mammals and 340 bird species of the Etosha National Park, whenever the adventurous desire strikes. Upon return of the breath-taking experiences, the day is not yet over. The pool awaits, as well as the Oshebeena-Bar in its township style allows refreshment to continue on the inside. And when the chef appears there are two more ways to end the day; at the Okambashu Restaurant with its flickering fireplace. Or outside in our village square when the Etosha Safari Boys are quick to unpack their instruments.

The Etosha Safari Camp has alluring qualities - extending the theme of Etosha as being a 'Place of Legends' and taking it one step further by bringing home the story and spirit of Africa. And the result is - legendary!
