On 2 February, the Gondwana Collection welcomed Three Wheels Co, a group of travel bloggers attempting to create a world record! The three gentlemen hail from all over the world. Travis Bluemling is the US, Chris Parkes is British-South African, and Ross OC Jennings is the Scotsman who aims to play the bagpipes in every country across the globe.

With the keys of a Namibia2Go Duster in hand, the three men have set off to explore Namibia, staying at the various Gondwana Collection properties.

So far, they have visited Kalahari Anib Lodge, Klein-Aus Vista, and the Namib Desert Lodge, with Etosha National Park and the Zambezi Region awaiting their arrival. When asked of their experience so far, the trio said, “It’s only been the first week, and we have already been blown away by this Gondwana adventure.” They continued, saying, “The combination of the distinctive lodges and the incredible individuals who make up their staff, make you feel like part of a family. The Gondwana family are truly setting a standard for experiencing Namibia.”

The group met via Instagram and have been travelling together for a few years now. Ross Jennings, also known as the First Piper, has been pursuing his world record since 2014 and has travelled to 72 countries so far. However, the unique group has many other unique secrets hidden behind smiling faces. Travis Bluemling was an athlete turned Peace Corps employee and now finds himself immersed in the cultures of the world, while Chris Parkes has been a life-long photographer, with a history in forensic imaging.

Three Wheels Co is currently running the Gondwana Collection Instagram account, and will continue to do so until 16 February.
