Zambezi Mubala Camp, the former Island View Lodge, is located under tall, shady trees on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, about 40 km east of Katima Mulilo. It is the first of the Gondwana Collection properties to offer Glamping (Glamourous Camping) as of 1 May 2018.

Eight safari tents, equipped with four beds (each), en-suite bathrooms, self-catering kitchens and verandas invite you to linger along the river (from N$450.00 per person per night). Traditional campers are also welcome to pitch their tents on one of the ten campsites with private sanitary facilities (from N$195.00 per person per night, maximum of six (6) persons per site).

The Zambezi Mubala Camp offers an à la carte restaurant and bar, both idyllically situated on the banks of the Zambezi. The restaurant offers simple dishes and breakfast. Braai packs and firewood is also available.

Recreational facilities in the area of the Zambezi Mubala Camp and nearby lodge are large. Passionate anglers can put together tailor-made fishing trips on site. During breathtaking boat trips, birdwatchers and photographers get their money’s worth. Day trips to the famous Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park and other national parks in the area are not to be missed.

Bookings can be made via email.
