Hit the Beat – In Rhythm we meet - Waldorf School Windhoek would like to invite music and dance enthusiasts to their performance on 14, 15 and 16 August 2019. This extraordinary performing arts project involves 55 learners of Waldorf School Windhoek, as well as musicians, artists and teachers from Namibia and Germany.

Hit the Beat project leader and choir director, Simone de Picciotto, approached this year’s topic, “Just imagine, our world could be a better place” on many different levels incorporating dance, drums, choir and solo singing, poetry and improvisational music.

The rehearsals and the upcoming performances this week also serve as preparation for the Waldorf School Choir’s tour to Germany in celebration of 100 years of Waldorf schools worldwide. The Gondwana Care Trust donated t-shirts and caps to the choir and wishes them an unforgettable experience!

The “Hit the Beat”-performances in Windhoek are taking place on 14, 15 and 16 August 2019 at Waldorf School Windhoek, Andre de Wet Street, Avis. Tickets can be bought at the school office, tel. +264 81 1228071.
